THE 4TH EUREKA INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETITION


The 4th Eureka International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition officially announced 11 winning projects of the Eureka competition.


Started on July 25, the competition was launched online, and co-organized and executed by PR Asia. Over 130 innovative and entrepreneurial teams from China and Australia participated in the event throughout 4 major sectors: big data and new generation information technology, modern agriculture, high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, and medical care.


With rigorous consideration and judgment by expert judges from both China and Australia, a total of 11 projects have won the Eureka Outstanding Award, the Eureka Acceleration Award, and the Eureka Growth Focus Award. The Outstanding Award went to Professor Zhang Huiru and her team from Henan University of Technology. The team not only received financial support from Eureka International Group, but also gained opportunities to further expand its commercialization, industrialization and international development of original core technologies with the help of the resource network of Eureka International Group.


According to Professor Zhang, the “Intestinal microcirculation fingerprint evaluation platform for healthcare” project aims to measure and evaluate the microcirculation function of organs and tissues based on laser Doppler technology. Such technology belongs to the original creation of Professor Zhang's team. Similar evaluation platforms have not yet been found in similar fields around the world, and since it has passed the professional appraisal, it was confirmed that the technology is effective in intestinal microcirculation. Efficient drawing implemented in terms of cyclic fingerprints.


Since then, the research team led by several professors has made comprehensive approach to protect the intellectual property rights of the technology breakthrough, as well as preparing the technology for industrialization and commercialization. Furthermore, the project was launch-ready in China.


Among the 132 projects that had participated in the competition, the unique highlights and feasibility of the project showcased that it has reached the standard and expectation of the jury team led by well-known corporate executives, scholars and experts in the industry.



All winners from the event will continue to compete in international stages against the remaining preliminary teams, such teams including United States, Europe and Asia, to race for the champion of the Jinan Finals. The winner will receive the title of Jinan Municipal 5150 Talents along with further business network, partnership, and financial support.
