M/FW CATWALK : STREET RUNAWAY 2 & 3


During 2019 Melbourne Fashion Week, PR Asia had collaborated with M/FW to feature creations from top-tier Asia-based designers through catwalk event at streets of Chinatown, Melbourne. The catwalk event remarked first attempt in Melbourne Fashion Week history to organize festival happenings along the streets of Melbourne and Chinatown Plaza.


Street Runway 2 debuted fashion creations by Li Chang, Mary Ma and The Lethe, while Street Runaway 3 debuted streetwears from fashion brands such as Panda Super Super at Navigare by Yueming Pan and Giovanni Valentino by Hao Feng. Hao Feng for Giovanni Valentino offered magnificent menswear tailoring – a combination of checked and coloured fabrics with modern design cues. Meanwhile, PSS X Navigare by Yueming Pan had dominated the runway with neon graphics and pounding pastels featured in signature hoodies, puffer jackets and tees. The collections not only portrayed ‘a sense of fun and freedom, encouraging wearers to abandon the restraints of urban life’, but also offered possibility of integrating Chinese graphic arts into punk London streetwear.
